iPhone 3G gets extremely hot and melt?!

Well, it should be just nor­mal stuff when you iphone 3G or itouch gets warmer, but at least it’d not melt. Unfor­tu­nately for this dude, it’s extremely hot and melted at the bot­tom near dock con­nec­tor of his iPhone.

A few hours ago, I fell asleep on my couch and woke up from extreme pain com­ing from my pocket…

I pulled out my iPhone 3G which was extremely hot… i then placed it on the floor, for what­ever rea­son, my phone burned my leg, and after look­ing back at my phone, you could def­i­nitely see melted plastic…

Has this hap­pened to any­one else?

What do you think apple will say?

First was cracked and now this. My guess is it might cause by Fetch new data fea­ture+ the blaz­ing speeds of 3G…Anyway, I won’t prob­a­bly going to use iPhone 3G instead of my iTouch, at least it’s not gonna burn my leg. Not just only that happy with iTouch, an edi­tor on Life­hacker had also happy with it.

Have you got an expe­ri­ence like this? Like your lap­top burnt your legs.
