$0.002 vs. 0.002 cents

Do you think there’s a huge dif­fer­ent between $0.002 and 0.002 cents? I think so, but Ver­i­zon wire­less rep­re­sen­ta­tives didn’t think so.


Well, it’s begin with that this guy was quoted a data charged rate at 0.002 cents. Instead, his bill was charged him $0.002. So he called up to com­plain Ver­i­zon, but end up that Ver­i­zon rep acted he’s well at math. After­ward, the rep called his super­vi­sor who could rec­og­nized a dol­lar and a penny aren’t the same, but couldn’t rec­og­nized a dif­fer­ent between $0.002 and 0.002 cents. Which is make no sense in common.

It sup­posed to be… 0.002 cents x his data used in kilo­byte = total. So it is 0.002 cents x 35,896 kb = 71.792 cents. Very simple.

I won­der how those peo­ple past mathematics…

    at all else if you doubt in put in to google:
    0.002 U.S. cents * 35 896 = 0.71792 U.S. dol­lars
    0.002 US$ * 35 896 = 71.79200 U.S. dollars
