10. Turn C batteries into Ds with quarters — only few things uses D batteries. But in case that you only got C batteries. Put some quaters will help.
9. Keep your iPod “held” and updated — Yep, pretty much a basic knowledge of ipod’s user.
8. Get rechargeable batteries — invest a little bit more than regular batteries, nut it help the environment and don’t need to pay on batteries every time.
7. Turn off your digital camera’s screen — well, powering LCD screen is quite a huge job for batteries. So turn it off and take a shot through the optical viewfinder if your battery is low or aren’t able to recharge it.
6. Watch movies from hard drives, not DVDs — This is for laptop users (all OSs), try to watch your fave movies from HDD because it takes more power to read a spining disc than reading files from HDD.
5. Extend your iPhone’s life — games with 3D graphic, like Assassin’s Creed, or vibate is a battery killer. Oh, and turn the 3G off if you’re not using it.
4. Stash your gadgets out of your pockets — well, we all (perhaps) know that heat can shorten li-ion batteries life.
3. Get long-term battery life — well this thread may help you
2. Make your system smarter about power — for laptop users again, these software will help you Vista Battery Saver, which kills the Aero effects, sidebar widgets, and other power sinks, and SmartSleep (OS X)
And the last tip (finally) 1. Recalibrate a laptop battery to regain life — It’s true that laptop batteries can lie to you about how much juice they have. The New York Times explain it clearly.
