It’s been a while that I made the last post. Well, I think you don’t want to know the reason, right? Anyway, let’s get back to the topic. Rapidshare has been known throughout the internet for long. Long enough to make itself become quite famous like TPB. As you might probably know, Rapidshare has been named for its shittiness and unreliability.
So I decided to look into this matter deeper and found that it’s “SHIT”. As the result, I stitched everything together to explain how “SHITTY” this site is.

1. Slowness
Probably the most common thing you may find when using Rapidshare service. Its slowness made me wanna go stab someone, rip their body apart, and throwing off to the river. Seriously, even so-called lightening-fast internet from Comcast can’t beat its slowness.
2. Waiting Time
Yeah, Rapidshare gives so many waiting time before actual download. So much that I could go pee and have a snack break. Also, you have to wait for additional 15 mins or so after the last download. How cool is that, it gives me even more time to grill a chicken and make a salad.
3. The Premium Thingy
Very smart. They reduced the ads on their site and start premium member thingy system instead. It’s bullshit and even more bullshit. So unless you are as rich as Bill Gates or and a Genie along your side, then the premium member is just expensive for unknown reason. Well, at least there some site that sells you cheaper premium account. But still, it’s bullshit.
4. The Creator of Rapidshare
Damn you, creator. For created such a shitty file hosting site. You can go to hell along with your Rapidshit. I bet this site was created by old Nazi German dude.
5. The Site Name
Honestly, why it even called Rapidshare. I suggest it should be called Slugishshare or Turtleshare.
6. The Uploader
All right, if you look through the internet pages and come across on certain forum that give away pirated software. You will see that many people use Rapidshare as their main file hosting site. Yeah, those guys can go to hell also or at least got eat by crocodile. True that they mostly do it for premium account or too lazy to find a better site. So, curse you uploader. You are a pain in the ass just like the creator of Rapidshare.
7. Limits
Too many limits, not just the timing but also many many things that I couldn’t tell. Again, unless you owned their premium account or have a secret relationship with the owner of Rapidshare. Don’t expect to be happy.
8. They Rip you off
Just as I mentioned on number 3, it’s not just expensive but they try to rip you off. Think about it, your hard earned money that could feed you for a month goes to their pocket just because you want to download a couple files. Now that’s truly dogshit.

Rapidshare is Rapidshare. I suggest you go use 4share or, even better, Mediafire.

rapidshare rewards people who upload files free premium accounts if a lot of people download from them, and thats how they are still get idiots uploading there.

RS sucks. Yes they give premium accounts, but when I cashed out, they locked my acct and blocked my files; as a result my online earnings decreased by 90%. And that’s what I get for giving them free traffic and selling their product 99% of the time; my files weren’t even 1KB and I own rights because I created them myself. I wish they would just remove their reward system because they don’t pay in the first place, fraudsters!

Also, they have some gay-ass downloader limit that only allows a couple non-premium downloaders to download at the same time, and has, for the past 3 hours, stopped me from downloading anything from the damn site. And as if that wasn’t homo enough, THERE’S A LIMIT TO WAIT BETWEEN CHECKING IF THERE IS OPEN DOWNLOAD SLOTS, it’s so stupid, I don’t even see how this site can be taken seriously. People need to stop uploading their shiz there.

there are much better hosts that that idiotic company like mediafire, ifile.it,even megaupload is better than rapidshare.
many uploaders use rapidshare for the sole purpose of getting premium account.
we have to find a solution to stop this shit.

You forgot one important thing… You always end-up with an ERROR page saying that there is to many users on the website you shall wait another, pain in the ass, 2 minutes.. And even after the 2 minutes they put you back on the same fucking error page.
Honestly I feel bad about having said some great words about rapidshare a year ago when it started … now It’s real CRAP!..
To every one out there: IF you are planning to put a nice attractive file on rapidshare please.. change for another host or dont put it at all.. You are juste teasing everyone else cause none of us( except for the ritch stupid dudes who paid for the premium) would be able to actually download it.

Also, gotta love the time fluctuation phenomenon that happens when your “last attempt” is displayed. Guess what, these numbers don’t have anything to do with your actual time. I got an one second time after waiting for 5 mins, and a 119 second estimate after clicking right after (and no, it’s not due to the proxy, it happens in the normal too). The 2 minutes period they ask is a trick to make you wait.

Yeah, Im not a big fan of Rapidshare either, although I have a Premium account that I paid for. Im not wealthy guy but I just want what I want when I want it & have gotten sick of spending my time scouring the net looking for what I want.
I also have a Premium MegaUpload account that I got first & where I like MU better, when it comes to hard to find things that MU dosent have, Rapidshare usually has it.
I look at it this way & Im sure RS & MU do to. I have downloaded so much in movies, applications, music, books & iPhone apps that I have saved far more money & far more of my valuable time than if Id paid for it or spent hours & days searching torrents for it.
Nobody is entitled to totally free anything & if you think you are then you should consider those of us who pay to keep these sites open for all the leeches as giving you what “Hey Zues” is giving you in the picture above…

As a long time user of rapidshare, I forsee them losing major revenue as users migrate away from them.

Here’s an opinion from someone who actually pays for the premium service. For the next to nothing I pay, I’m happy with the 5+ MB per second that they give me since I pay for their service and don’t leech off of them. If you don’t pay, you get 300k per sec and have to wait between downloads. You don’t like that? Then you PAY! The bandwidth they offer costs them money, why should they let you use it all up if you’re not going to pay for their service?

OK B Miller that’s kind of true, BUT I payed for rapid, was happy for 10 days, then 18 gigs of trafficshare was suddently gone ?!?
I have emailed them again and again and again.…. no fucking reply, my month is about to end and Im still short 18 gigs I PAYED for, but seems rapid just steals your money and laugh, well guess what Im done using them !!!!!!!!!!

There’s no reason to upload to Rapidshit when you could upload to Mediafire. Mediafire has no delay between downloads and even allows multiple parallel downloads — yet somehow they manage to stay in business. Rapidshit can suck it.
